Christiana Hunte, a Brooklyn native, began her dance journey at Creative Outlet Dance Theater of Brooklyn. She furthered her education at LaGuardia High School and, in her senior year, was honored as a Winner in Modern Dance by the National YoungArts Foundation. She also received the Desire Keras (Dancer from the Heart) Award. In 2018, Christiana graduated from SUNY Purchase College with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Arts Management. She has had the privilege of performing works by Shamel Pitts, Kevin Wynn, Michelle Ulerich, and Manuel Vignoulle. Christiana has studied with Dance Italia in Italy and is a recent alumna of Springboard Danse Montreal. She currently performs with Antonio Brown Dance and has also worked as the Programs Manager, ballet teacher, and artistic intern for MOVE|NYC|. Christiana aspires to travel the world through dance and to inspire and impact the next generation in ways that will advance the art of dance.
