Ian J. Da Silva
Ian J. DaSilva, a Brooklyn native, began his arts training at the Bernice Johnson Cultural Arts Center and continued his education at institutions such as Ballet Tech and Dance Theatre of Harlem. He was named a Young Arts winner in dance in 2007 and has performed both nationally and internationally.
DaSilva has presented his choreography at various venues, including Manhattan Movement Arts Center, Hofstra University, Bryant Park, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, Alvin Ailey Citi Group Theater, and Kings Theater. He earned an undergraduate degree in Music Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology and later received his Master's Degree in Dance Education from New York University. DaSilva currently serves on the dance faculty at Brooklyn High School of the Arts.
