Jada Williams
Jada Williams, native of Brooklyn, graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Arts Management. During her college career, she had the opportunity to work with Jonathan Reidel, Kyle Abraham, Kevin Wynn, Jean Freebury (restaging Merce Cunningham’s Change of Address), and Dylan Crossman. Jada also studied abroad in Perth, Australia, at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and spent summers in Montreal attending Springboard Danse Montreal, where she worked with Jonathan Alsberry on Aszure Barton’s work and Shamel Pitts on Three by Ohad Naharin.
Since graduating, Jada has worked with Helen Simoneau, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, and was an artist associate with Kyle Abraham’s Abraham In Motion for two years. She is also a performing artist and rehearsal director for Wyckoff Collective. In addition to dance, Jada is a freelance model.
