Jah'Meek Williams
Jah'meek D. Williams, a Brooklyn native, began dancing at age eleven with the youth dance group V.O.P. (Vision of Praise) at St. Paul's Community Baptist Church under Serina Young and Deborah Barton. He continued his training with Purelements Evolution in Dance, directed by Lakai Worrel, Kevin Joseph, and Dina Wright Joseph, and later at Creative Outlet Dance Theatre of Brooklyn under Jamel Gaines, where he trained in Ballet, Modern, African, Jazz, and Hip Hop.
A graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, Jah'meek co-founded and directs JAH'KEV Productions. He furthered his education as a Contemporary Major at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and earned a BFA in Modern Dance Performance from The University of the Arts. He has danced with Eleone Dance Theatre and is currently a member of Philadanco Dance Company.
Jah'meek's professional work includes performances with Travis Scott at the 2019 MTV VMAs, and in music videos for Keke Palmer. He has also appeared in a commercial for the "Jesus Christ Superstar" national tour and modeled for Vim clothing. Additionally, Jah'meek performed in the 4th annual Black Music Honors awards show in Atlanta.
