Taeler Cyrus
Taeler Cyrus, a Los Angeles native, graduated with honors from The Ailey School/Fordham University with a B.F.A. in Dance. At The Ailey School, she took part in several prestigious training programs, including the Laban School in London, Impulstanz in Vienna, Jacob’s Pillow, and the American Dance Festival. Her professional journey includes dancing with Ailey II, River North Dance Chicago, The Metropolitan Opera, and an apprenticeship with Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Taeler has showcased her talent at international festivals such as The Holland Dance Festival, Portugal’s Cistermúsica Festival, Finland’s Kuopio Dance Festival, and Vaison Danses in France.
In the commercial arena, Taeler has performed with Beyoncé, Kanye West, and Mariah Carey, and has appeared on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Saturday Night Live, MTV’s Video Music Awards, and America’s Got Talent. She has been a prominent figure on Broadway, originating roles in After Midnight, An American In Paris, and the recent revival of Hello, Dolly!. Taeler also joined the cast of Wicked and is currently performing in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd as an ensemble member and co-dance captain. Her other musical theater credits include Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Paper Mill Playhouse, Oklahoma! at Sacramento Music Circus as Dream Laurey, and performances in New York City Center’s Encores! series in Call Me Madam and High Button Shoes.
Taeler is dedicated to teaching movement in various forms, from dance to fitness and personal artistic expression. With a background in group fitness training, she specializes in barre, first through Flywheel Sports and now independently. Additionally, she is a faculty member at the Neighborhood Playhouse, where she instructs jazz dance to aspiring actors in New York City.
