Summer School
The Creative Outlet Summer Arts Camp serves students age five to fourteen. In a six-week culture arts program where they study dance, theater, voice, music and visual art. In addition to daily classes, students visit museums, performances, and cultural events throughout the city.
New York City/Summer Youth Employment Program is a program where each summer, we employ nearly sixty New York City youth to train, perform and intern for six weeks with the organization.
Creative Outlet Summer Intensive is an intensive two-week professional dance course that offers modern dance, African dance, ballet, floor-barre, jazz, hip-hop and yoga. The pre-professional dancers and advanced students learn Creative Outlet repertoire and are closely mentored by the Creative Outlet teachers and guest artists. There is a strong emphasis on professional artistic development, including lessons on professional etiquette and norms, audition preparation, and performance technique.
