Naomi Townsend

Naomi Townsend is a British-Taiwanese performing artist and the Development Manager at JGCO, with extensive experience in arts administration and grant writing. Raised in Shanghai and London, and now based in New York, Naomi leverages her diverse cultural background to build meaningful relationships and connect communities. Passionate about using the arts to promote cultural understanding, Naomi has worked for an education consultancy firm, where she cultivated a love for literature and the arts in students, fostering their creative potential. Naomi combines her artistic practice in acting, writing, and performance with a strong foundation in research, communication, and strategic planning. Her ability to create compelling narratives and secure funding for arts programs has been key to her success in advancing the mission of the organizations she works with. Naomi holds an honors BFA in English Literature and Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
